1. Data Minimization

We only collect the data necessary to perform our mathematical matching logic. This includes your interests, basic profile information, and precise geolocation for distance-aware synchronization.

2. Cryptographic Security

Your sensitive data is never stored in plain text. We utilize salted SHA-256 hashing routines for passwords and personal identifiers. Communication between our serverless handlers and the database is secured using restricted JWT streams and production-grade environment secrets.

3. Geolocation & The Haversine Formula

We use your location to calculate distances between potential matches. Our system uses the Haversine formula to compute these distances on-the-fly. We do not maintain a permanent historical log of your movement—only your most recent active coordinate for matching purposes.

4. Third-Party Integrations

EliteSync does not sell or trade your personal data. We use industry-standard tools like Google Maps for location picking and Cloudflare for traffic management, but your core profile data remains strictly within the EliteSync ecosystem.

5. User Control

As an EliteSync user, you have absolute control over your data. You can update your profile details via our Flutter interface or request full account deletion, which triggers an automated purge of all associated records from our D1 database.
